My Heritage Journey

Hi, I am a mother, a librarian by profession, and a passionate explorer of ancestral stories. My journey began in Indonesia—a land of seventeen thousand islands rich with cultural diversity—and has led me to the Netherlands, where I've built a new home with my family while carrying the treasures of my heritage.

Umbu Langit—meaning "honored ancestor" in traditional Indonesian dialect—represents the core of my mission. This project began as a personal tribute to those who came before me, evolved into a historical archive for my child's heritage. Through this project, I ensure these powerful stories aren't lost to time.
